Cordierite is a magnesium alumina silicate material, which has very low linear expansion, low coefficient of thermal expansion and excellent resistance to thermal shock. Cordierite also offers an excellent range of mechanical strength, porosity criteria, and excels in cost-effective extruded and dry-pressed forms. Cordierite Honeycomb Monoliths are divided into two types: porous type and compact type.
The process of silicon carbide ceramic membrane is a kind of “cross flow filtration” fluid separation process: the raw material liquid flow into the membrane at high-speed, small molecules driven by the pressure permeates the membrane along the vertical direction, the macromolecule component of the turbid concentrated liquid retained, so that the fluid can be separation, concentration or purification.
